Pretty Pink popcorn maker | Review

Hey lovelies! <3

Sorry it's been a while, I'm back with you though for this exciting review on my new 'Pretty Pink' popcorn maker from Argos!

I've wanted a popcorn maker for soooooo long, I picked this little beauty up yesterday for only £13.49! (Originally £19.99)

This popcorn machine has hot air circulation, which creates healthier/low-cal popcorn, as oppose to the kind you get from the cinema etc where they use butter/oil. Perfect for people who are looking for a snack whilst losing weight, (popcorn CAN be healthy!) It's also perfect for parties, sleepovers or Netflix nights in <3

Inside the box, you get an instruction booklet which has all the health & safety regulations/cleaning guide and of course the popcorn maker itself (no popping corn/kernels are included) & it's also a pluggy so no need for batts!

To use the machine, plug it in, remove the black measuring spoon and plastic lid, then get your kernels (I got mine from Holland & Barrett 400g for under £2) only add a spoonful for each use of the machine as you don't want to over hear it. If you do want to make more batches, take 10 minute breaks do the machine has time to cool down.

DO NOT add any oil or butter, as I mentioned this is a hot air circulation popcorn maker, it takes about 1 minute, maybe less actually to make a large bowl (1 spoonful). Yumyum!

Make sure you have a bowl under the spout so that the popcorn doesn't go all over the place. Once your done, sprinkle some seasalt, black pepper, sweetener, honey, cinnamon, syrup or nandos peri peri salt (shown in pic) :D

I love this little machine, the only thing that bothers me is the loudness of it, but it's so quick, so it's all good (:

To see a video of the popcorn popping in action, check out my Instagram @leanne.elle <3

This would make a great gift for anybody who loves the colour pink and anybody who loves popcorn! :D

Next up.. The 'pretty pink' candyfloss machine! Not sure when, but I reaaaally want it! They also sell a chocolate fountain and a fondue set Hehe :)

Top 5 Beauty Faves | October 2014

Hello there lovelies <3

I thought I'd do a little mini review on some products i'm absolutely loving this month!

- - - - - -

Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs - I'm actually quite a pale girl, I love being tan though, I think I suit being tan > pale and it makes be more confident.

I've always had trouble finding a tan that actually looks half-decent.

I've tried; St Tropez, He-Shi, Vita Liberata, St Moriz, Sunshimmer, etc & none of them did it for me. They all (apart from Vita Liberata but it's quite expensive) left blotchy patches and made my skin look dirty haha, yuck!

I know lots of people love these brands but they just didn't work on my skin, everybody is different though. I had read a few reviews on this tan before buying and I was actually heading out that night and didn't want blotchy tan/pale skin as I would have been embarrassed so I went ahead and purchased it from Gordon's Chemist for like £10-something which I thought was a decent enough price.
Once I got home I got showered, exfoliated, moisturized etc then applied the tan.

I was so amazed by it, literally. It covered everywhere evenly and was so easy to apply. It even made my knees and elbows look the same colour as my arms and legs without rough looking patchiness, It is water-resistant and doesn't rub off unless you do it on purpose.. I looove it! <3

Ps; I know it says 'Airbrush Legs' - It works all over though, don't worry!

- - - - - -

Lush D'Fluff Strawberry Shaving Soap - I first heard about this product from Grav3yard girl on Youtube, and since I'm a proud member of the 'Swamp Family', I went ahead and trotted like a horsie to Lush and picked up a small tub just to test out first before I bought a large one. The girl who was serving said that it was amazing and that I would love it & so I did!

It has a marshmallow-like consistency and it's PINK <3

It has lots of ingredients such as; Cocoa butter, Coconut oil, Rapseed Oil, Egg whites & Fresh strawberries, which all make your skin so soft and smells yumyumyum.

- - - - - -

Garnier Skin Naturals, Intensive Moisturizing Cream - You always find such great things in Poundland don't you? This stuff is amazing and it's pink, yayay!

You can use this little pot of cream on your hands, face or just all over your body, which is just fabulous.

It's for normal and dry skin, dermalogically tested, nourishes and softens and has a non-greasy texture which absorbs instantly to give you immediate softness :)

- - - - - -

L'Oreal Paris Mythic Oil - I actually got this in last month's glossy box and was so happy to receive it as I've been wanting to try it for quite some time now, the full price is £14.95, but they gave us a 45ml sample which is quite a generous size. The packaging is beautiful, very elegant if I must say so myself. It also has a little pump which I love, I'm not really a fan of hair oils or a heat protect that sprays out like a hairspray, I'd rather just apply an oil to my hair before I dry. With this you only need about 2 pumps (having short hair that is) - If you have long hair I'd say maybe 3-4 pumps, maybe 5-6 if you are Rapunzel? Too much will make your hair look really greasy :( - It smells amazing!

- - - - -

Too Faced Boudoir Eyes Palette - I purchased this at Boots a few months ago and I've been using it everyday! - I think it was about £30.

Funny story, I was actually skint at the time I bought it but I was soooo tempted by the pretty packaging, I caved in and got it!

Haha, so worth it though! - I'm going to do a seperate review on this product so I won't go too into it.. The colours are very beautiful though, they're very suttle and sexy, wootwoot!

I just love it, this is my first Too Faced palette too, they all look so pretty, I WANT THEM ALL <3

Thankyou so much for reading, I hope you enjoyed this post :)

Which products are you loving at the moment?

Have you tried any of these products?

Ciaté Dolls House Collection | Review

Hello lovelies! <3

I saw this set from Ciaté ages ago and just thought it looked SO adorable and so of course being the girly girl that I am, I wanted it.

Unfortunately, I wasn't sure if spending £18 on 5 mini nail polishes would be worth it, however, I managed to pick this little set from Tk Maxx about a week & half ago for £6.99 :O

I was so delighted to finally get my paws on it!

- - - - - -

Looky, how cuuuuuute! :)

I just love the packaging so much, with it's little door, windows and birdy on the rooftop, it's just too sweet.

You can also open it up to reveal the colours a bit more. As you can see, there are 5 mini stunning pastel shaded 5ml nailpolishes included within this set.

Paperdoll, (a chalky white colour)
Baby doll (pastel pink)
Poppet (lilac)
Sweet Pea (pastel mint)
& Doll Face (nudey-beige)

Ciaté describe these polishes to be of high coverage, high fashion and quick-drying with a porcelain effect finish, which I thought, wow, great!

However, one thing I didn't like about these nail polishes is that they are a little difficult to work with, because they dry so quickly and you need a good 2-3 coats to get the opaqueness. Don't get me wrong, They're very cute colours, and the porcelain effect is pretty awesome, they're just a little frustrating to work with as I felt like I was just creating lots of streaks on my nails (never a good look!)

I think if you put more time and effort in, you could really work with these nail polishes, I just found they were a tad messy, just my opinion though!

I have heard other people having the same problem as me, but i'm sure lots of people love this set.

In my opinion, the packaging, name and pastel shades drew me into buying this, i'm glad I didn't pay the full price though!

If you do want to try this set out for yourself , have a look in your local Tk Maxx, or you can purchase it here from 'Look Fantastic'  :)

Have you tried this set?

What's your fave shade? - I love poppet & sweetpea <3

Thanks for reading!

Bedroom haul | (Primark & Tk Maxx)

Hi everybody! HI DR NICK. Hehe, i'm just kiddin',  i'm having a lazy pj day today (it is Sunday after-all) so, I thought I would share a little post about a few things I have recently purchased from Primark and TkMaxx since my daddy bear kindly re-decorated my bedroom for my Christmas pressie which I am so thankful for! <3

P R I M A R K

Firsty we have this very pretty bottled 'coconut & vanilla cream' scented room diffuser.
(£3.00 for 100ml)

I absolutely love this delicate, fresh fragrance. If i'm being honest, I can't really smell much coconutty-ness (yes that's a word in my dictionary..) but, I definitely get a vanilla vibe.

Primark already have their Christmas home-ware range out at the moment too YAY, so I shall definitely be picking up one of their festive fragrance diffusers!

Next up is this gorgeous little silver bells CHRISTMAS, yes CHRISTMAS heart decoration with a little tartan print bow. (£2.00)

I'm keeping this on my wardrobe handle from now until Christmas is over, I don't even care if Halloween hasn't even passed yet..

I think these are actually out of stock at my local Primark, I can't imagine why.. too cute <3

Okay, i'm going to be honest, I purchased the pink furry heart cushion (£3.00) about 2 months ago, however, I did recently see some cream coloured heart cushions in stock at my local so you MAY be able to find one in your local Primark if you're interested, it's so adorable!

I got the lilac cushion (£4.00) about 2 weeks ago and they still have it in stock near me, I fell in love with it because it's all 'frenchy' and awww. <3

I believe it's an ad for a french handmade soap shop, which I think is an awesome thing to print onto a cushion, why not! aha (:

Finally from Primark, I got these little fairy lights which are diamond shaped for just £3.00!

You get 20 led lights and they're battery operated (batts not included!)

I just think they're so cute and they make me feel really cosy at night when i'm tucked up in bed playing Animal Crossing New Leaf (aha, yes ma'am, I'm an addict, are you?)

T K  M A X X

I thought i'd pick up some storage boxes for my DVDs, headphones, chargers etc rather than shoving them all into my bedside cabinet or chest of drawers, so I know where everything is and they're not as tangled.

These boxes are very vintage looking, which I loooove. <3

They feature these little birdies on chandeliers, which is randomly adorable, they are pale pink and beige-y with Paris printed on them and a few other french words.

The smallest box was £3.99, the one underneath is slightly bigger and cost £4.99 then the long box which has my DVDs inside cost £6.99, I love them!

Finally, the last item!

I have seen these jars everywhere all over instagram and tumblr etc, so of course I wanted one too, haha. They can store juice and food or you could display some flowers in them, ooh endless uses!

I got this for £3.99 which I thought was a decent price considering it's not just any jar, it's a jar with a heart! <3

They have various sizes, which are only like £1.00-£2.00 difference.

That's a wrap!

I hope you guys enjoyed reading this post, I understand it's pretty long, sowwy!

Which shops are your favourite for cute home-ware?

Glossybox Pop Art edition | October 2014

Okay...OKAY,  how amazing is this months glossybox!?

There are actually four different color schemes of this months box which are sent out randomly, so it was exciting to find out which I got. I'm glad I got this one because the little lady reminds me of Barbie meheheh :)

Okay, on to the contents!

I was so, SO thrilled when I found out what was inside this lovely box of treats and I can honestly say I LOVE everything I got. <3

The value of this box is around the £50 mark I believe, which is bloomin' awesome considering you're only paying a tenner plus £2.95 for delivery.

- - - - - -

Starting from Left-Right...

1. Nuxe Paris Masque Crème Fraîche de Beauté £19.50
I knew I was getting this product as it was last months spoiler, hehe.
I've never tried anything from Nuxe before, so it was nice to recieve. I usually make my own little face masks using oats, greek yog & banana so it was nice to try something a bit more luxurious than the one I usually slap on my face, which is quite messy. It has a really nice, soothing feeling on the skin & it definitely made my skin look a lot brighter, less tired looking & made it super soft, I think I might need to buy another once I finish this...

2. So Susan Flutter Mascara £14.95
Oh my goodness, I was in need of a new black mascara badly, so I was so excited about this. I've never tried anything from this brand before either. This mascara makes your lashes look pretty without being too much, it gives a very natural look which is great for everyday-wear & the packaging is beautiful <3

3. être belle Liplift Peel £12.95
The only other lip exfoliant i've used have been the ones from Lush, which are absolutely amazing so I was happy to try a new one out from a brand i've never heard of before!
I love how it comes in a little tube and it's easy to apply to the lips, it's not a rough exfoliant either, it's very gentle on the lips and does the job perfectly in giving you super soft lippies, loving it!

4. Rimmel London BB Cream Matte £6.99 for 30ml
Rimmel is one of my favourite drug-store brands so I wasn't disappointed when I found this little sample tube of BB cream. I actually received one of these when I ordered from Missguided about a month or so ago and I loved it. I got it in the shade light, however, it is a little bit darker than my skintone but it looks fine if you have some tan on or if you take the time to really blend it in, it has really good coverage too :)

5. Yves Rocher Quelques Notes D'Amour £33 for 30ml
Aww, I love it when they include little perfume bottles, so sweet!
I prefer bottles > those silly little spritzer in a card thingies.
This perfume smells gorgeous, its very classy and I think it lingers for a good while on the skin, which it fab!

6. Ciaté London Paint Pot in snow virgin 010 £9.00
I absolutely love Ciate nail polishes, so I was so happy they included one in this months box, although I was a little bit sad that my paintpot came bow-less :( boo. I don't actually have a white nail polish so i'm glad I got snow virgin. I would have preferred a bright pink though, oh well I can't complain too much hehe :P
